NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
DRAFT TRUSTEE AREA MAPS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board of the Whittier City School District at its board meeting to be held on February 27, 2018 at 6:30 p.m., will present draft trustee area maps and proposed sequence of elections for public input pursuant to Elections Code section 10010(a)(2).
The public hearing will be held at the Whittier City School District Board Room & Development Center located at:
7211 South Whittier Avenue
Whittier, California 90602
This public hearing is part of the process for establishing a “by-trustee area” elections methodology. The purpose of this public hearing is to invite public comment on the draft trustee area maps and proposed sequence of elections, which can be accessed via the Whittier City School District’s “Trustee Areas Update” webpage:

The Governing Board of the Whittier City School District invites public testimony regarding this matter. Childcare will be available upon prior request.

PROYECTO DE MAPAS DE AREA DEL FIDEICOMISO
POR LA PRESENTE SE CONCEDE que la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Whittier en su reunión de consejo que se llevó a cabo el 27 de febrero, 2018 a las 6:30 p.m., presentará un borrador de los mapas del área fiduciaria y una secuencia propuesta de elecciones para las aportaciones del público en conformidad con el Código Electoral sección 10010(a)(2).
La audiencia pública se llevará a cabo en la Sala de Conferencias y Centro de Desarrollo del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Whittier ubicado en:
7211 South Whittier Avenida
Whittier, California 90602
Esta audiencia pública es parte del proceso para establecer una metodología de elección de “área por fideicomisario”. El objetivo de esta audiencia pública es invitar al público a hacer comentarios sobre los borradores de los mapas del área fiduciaria y la secuencia propuesta de elecciones, a los que se puede acceder a través del sitio web bajo "Actualización de Áreas de Fiduciario":
