Community Update on End of COVID-19 Emergency

We are happy to share that the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has rescinded its isolation and quarantine emergency orders for COVID-19 cases and their close contacts. We would like to thank our staff, students, and families for their dedication throughout the COVID-19 state of emergency that started over three years ago. The information below will guide our safety measures going forward.

  • We will no longer provide notification and testing kits for every positive case or exposure.

  • We will continue to respond to the needs of families and be vigilant about minimizing health risks for our staff and students by practicing good hygiene and encouraging those that are sick to stay home.

  • Please continue to notify the school if your child is positive for COVID-19.

  • COVID-19 test kits remain available upon request from your school.

Student that tests positive for COVID-19:

  • Must stay home for a minimum of 5 days

  • Be fever free for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medicines)

  • Wear a mask for 10 days

  • A negative COVID-19 test is no longer required to return to school

If you have any questions regarding the new guidelines please contact your school office.
